You can find this hidden gem of Agoura Hills just off of the 101 at Kanan. Their deli in the back has some of my favorite fresh bread and Boar's Head meats to make an amazing sandwich. They also have a good selection of chips and bottled/canned drinks in their fridge to complete your lunch. Eli, the owner, will remember your favorite sandwich order too right when you walk in the order!
They have a yummy pastrami sandwich that I tried, its not the best that I had but it is definitely up there! They also have a variety of different chips from different companies that are kettle cooked, I love those options better than the other regular chips!

Ok I was skeptical when I saw the rating... well damn I was wrong this was one of the best sandwiches I've had in a really long time. Made to order! It was delicious The meat was shaved thin just the way I like it great dill pickles. I will be back next time I'm in the area.

I found this little spot when I stopped by Jack n the Box. I walked into the Deli Mart noticed they had a list of sandwiches to order from freshly made. Headed to the back to order two and give them a try. 1. Turkey 2. Italian. A nice gentleman in THE BACK greeted me and asked if he can take my order. I said yes. Ordered my sandwich with Eli and his co partner Hispanic guy making the sandwiches. Very sweet gentleman and attentive. Such a nice experience ordering here with Eli. I loved the food and will definitely be back. Everything is freshly made and they have pickles you can order to go. Nice! Giving this spot a 5 star. Thanks Eli. My food was #1 Best! Keep up the great work.
Absolutely the best deli in California!!! We live in Santa Monica and have to come out to Thousand Oaks once in a while and Agoura Deli is a must! The best Matzo ball soup (light fluffy ball, fresh carrots and celery, and flavorful broth) the pastrami Rueben will transport you to NY in one bite! If they opened a 2nd location where the old Izzy's deli was in Santa Monica we would stop cooking and eating anywhere else and just eat there! (Hint hint)
Great sandwich and from I hear it can get busy. I must have come at the perfect time cause I was the 3rd person in line. I went with a simple turkey, pepper jack, and bacon on a French roll. Didn't take too long and the sandwich was a good size. Very tasty and filling.
